It assists in the regulation of the acid-base balance and water balance in the blood and the body tissue. It contains 40% potassium and 60% chloride. It assists in protein synthesis from amino acids and in carbohydrate metabolism and is important in helping pet maintain proper acid-based balance. Salt - is a natural mineral, necessary for life and good health. Salt provides several essential nutrients, such as sodium and chloride, as well as important trace minerals. Monosodium Phosphate - is also known as anhydrous monobaic sodium phosphate, which is a chemical compound of sodium with a phosphate counterion. it is used as a laxative and in combination with other sodium phosphates,such a a pH buffer. It is soluble and is either in colorless crystals or a white powder. Vitamin A-Acetate - is a supplement that is added to almost all pet foods as a vitamin source.
